The Generac RTSN100K3 transfer switches are designed to operate with our R-Series Digital Controllers. Available in both single and three-phase versions, these proven, open transition transfer switches are ideal for residential, commercial and light industrial applications. Both standard RTS and service entrance rated transfer switches feature NEMA 3R enclosures for indoor or outdoor use. All standard RTS and distributed load center transfer switches are UL and CUL Listed. It works with generators up to 60,000 and is designed to operate with the digital control on air-cooled generators and the Generac R200 or Nexus controller used on liquid-cooled QT series gaseous generators from 22-60 ,000. (Example: 4' x 5' x 8' = 160 cu. ft.) Import: Celing height must not exceed 9'Step 2: Determine Heat Loss Factory: Consider construction materials used in steamroom; find head loss multiplier below. Multiply by cubic footage. When there is more than one type of material, use the one with the higher heat loss factor. (Example: Ceramic Tile: 160 cu. ft. x 1.3 = 208 cu. ft.)(Ceramic Tile - 1.3) (Glass Tile or Glass Block Walls - 1.35) (Porcelain Tile - 1.6) (Natural Stne Tiles up to 1/2" - 2.0) (Natural Stone Slabs over 1/2" - 2.25)Step 3: Additional Heat Loss Factors - Insulated Exterior Walls - add an additional multiplier (1.10 per outside wall) is required for each exterior wall surrounding the steamroom. (Example: 200 cu. ft. x 1.10 = 220 cu. ft.)Step Four: Select Model - Select the Generator with a Maximum Cubic Foot Range that is equal to or greater than your calculated Total Adjusted Cubic Feet.Note 1: For celing heights over 8 feet but not more than 9 feet, use the next larger size generator.Note 2: If the steamroom has a skylight or an outside window, select the next larger size generator.
